5 THINGS THAT ANNOY OUR DOGS

Dogs have lived by our side for thousands of years. They are our best friends. Nevertheless, we sometimes forget that it is a different animal species with different habits. And that they often have holy patience with us. Each fur is an original with its own unique character. Despite this, however, we can uncover a few things that most of our canine species hate about us.

1. HUGGING AND VIOLATION OF PERSONAL SPACE

Dogs are contact animals, but they imagine expressing affection a little differently than we do. While we would most like to snuggle and cuddle with our pets, such activity often ends in tug-of-war and the dog running away. Most dogs tolerate our hugs. And he often allows it only to people he knows well. He usually perceives him as a threat from others. Similarly, dogs also react to us getting too close with our faces or petting them furiously. Imagine for yourself that you are walking down the street and a complete stranger rushes at you, leans close to us and starts scratching our head...

2. OUR PASSION FOR PERFUMES AND AROMATHERAPY

A collection of perfumes in the bathroom on a shelf makes you happy. But definitely not to your canine friend. It is a well-known fact that dogs have a very fine sense of smell. A mix of strong smells of various origins is a very intense stimulus for dogs, whether it comes from a well-known perfumery or from a natural apathetic. At least avoid applying scents in the immediate presence of the dog.

3. RUNNING AROUNG WHILE WALKING

Walking is not a race. It's not about walking as many kilometers as possible and tiring the dog's paws. The dog's senses and instincts should also be challenged. However, many dog owners do not know this, and therefore run around the streets and in nature, not paying attention to the fact that the dog wants to stop and take a good sniff. Try to approach going for a walk like a visit to the zoo. Stop, let the dog bury its nose in the grass, and get some fresh air yourself. You will both enjoy the walk more.

4. LACK OF RULES

What do dogs and children have in common? They usually don't look like it, but the lack of rules doesn't suit them. A safe living environment is based on predictability and clearly established foundations. Dogs like routine and well-explained principles of coexistence. But of course, this has nothing to do with shouting and violently enforcing the rules. Instead of strict authority, you should rather bet on consistency and strengthening the mutual relationship.

5. LACK OF ATTENTION

Dogs are social animals, and the time when they had a designated place alone in the backyard by the kennel is thankfully passing away. In addition, they are also social sleepers and simply do not like to be alone for a long time. That's why we have to think about our canine friends, even if we don't want to, it's raining outside or we'd rather watch a movie instead of playing together, walking or training. For our dogs, we are the center of the universe.
