2. RIEGR'S SETS
Good move! An integral part of the life of a city dog are walks, ideally in a park where there is no danger for either the dog or the master. We dare to say that Riegrovy sady is such a park. You will discover this green oasis in the very heart of Vinohrady and fall in love with it before your dog says "haf".
Although at first glance it might seem that you have to keep your dog on a leash at all times in Riegro's orchards, the opposite is true. In the lower part of the park, closer to Italská street, you will find marked places where you can let your dog run free . Of course, only on the condition that he listens to your word and is used to running when called. Take into account that Riegro's sets are very popular among dog walkers, so it is almost certain that you will come across other dogs.
3. DOG FRIENDLY CAFÉS
Even the masters deserve a sweet life. If you're out for a walk with your dog, you certainly don't have to give up coffee and dessert. On the contrary, the center of Prague is dotted with cafes where dogs are welcome guests .
Sweet pastry lovers must not miss Piece of cake in Korunní Street 90, where, as the name suggests, they prepare fantastic cakes! You will also discover a cafe on the same street Spižirna 1902 , whose strength is not only excellent coffee, but also fantastic cuisine. We can't forget Vinohrady either Coffee Room , which is famous for its great coffee and famous avocado breads. ¨
However, you will also find dog friendly cafes on Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrady. We especially recommend the bakery La Form with a pleasant garden where you and your dog can hide from the scorching sun.
By the way, not only in Vinohrady you will discover our so-called Dogbars, i.e. bowls with water, which are intended for all thirsty passing dogs . So if you pass by one of the dog bars, don't forget to stop by it with your dog.
4. DOG PLAYGROUND
Unfortunately, you will not find a full-fledged dog playground in Prague's Vinohrady. And so there is nothing left but to be unfaithful to this city district and go to Letná . Opposite the National Technical Museum is a fenced dog playground that will please all active dogs . There are several simple obstacles inside, thanks to which you can train basic dog skills. Just remember that dog playgrounds have their own rules that must be respected .
