The pack contains 2 BRITA MAXTRA PRO Hard Water Expert filters. Each filter is intended for filtering up to 150 liters of water or 4 weeks of use – whichever comes first.

The entire pack lasts for up to 300 liters of water or 8 weeks of use.

The filters are compatible with BRITA filter jugs that use the MAXTRA PRO system.

How does the filtration work?

Tap water passes through several filtration layers:

Captures coarse mechanical particles and organic impurities.

2. Activated carbon – Micro Carbon Pearls
Helps reduce chlorine and other substances affecting the taste and odor of the water. It also contributes to the reduction of selected pesticides, herbicides, and pharmaceutical residues.

3. Ion-exchange resin
The key part of the filter for households with hard water. Reduces carbonate water hardness and significantly limits limescale formation. At the same time, it helps reduce certain heavy metals, such as lead and copper.

4. Extra fine filter mesh
Captures fine particles of size ≥ 30 µm and contributes to the overall purity of the filtered water.
