You can use filtered water not only for daily drinking but also for regularly filling bowls and water fountains for dogs and cats. Thanks to the reduction in limescale buildup, filtered water also helps make their maintenance easier.

The pack contains 2 BRITA MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance filters. Each filter is designed to filter up to 150 liters of water or for 4 weeks of use – whichever comes first.

The entire pack is therefore sufficient for up to 300 liters of water or 8 weeks of use.

The filters are compatible with BRITA water filter jugs using the MAXTRA PRO system.

How does the filtration work?

Tap water passes through several filtration layers, which help improve its taste while reducing selected undesirable substances.

1. Extra-fine mesh
Captures coarse mechanical particles and organic impurities.

2. Activated carbon – Micro Carbon Pearls
Helps reduce primarily chlorine and other substances affecting the taste and aroma of water. It also contributes to the reduction of selected pesticides, herbicides, PFAS, and pharmaceutical residues.

3. Ion-exchange resin
Reduces carbonate water hardness, thereby helping to limit limescale formation. It also helps reduce some heavy metals, such as lead and copper.

4. High-performance filter mesh
Captures fine particles ≥ 30 µm and contributes to the overall clarity of the filtered water.
